    Puresu® single-use tube assemblies at ACHEMA

    Droyt Ltd choose Bredel

    Chorley-based Droyt Products Ltd has selected a Bredel 32 hose pump from Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group, to help transfer liquid glycerine soap between a mixing vessel and a cooling/setting mould. The pump was selected over lower cost competitor models due to its quality and far more efficient lifetime running costs. Replacing a previously manual operation, the low-shear handling characteristics of the Bredel pump makes clean, light work of what was once an extremely laborious process.

    Quality control of alcoholic beverages relies on OEM pumps from Watson-Marlow

    Zeutec Opto-Elektronik of Rendsburg, Germany has adopted 114 series OEM peristaltic pumps from Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group in technology that partners the company’s latest SpectraAlyzer 2.0, a near-infrared (NIR) analyser for alcoholic beverages such as wine, beer and spirits. Zeutec, which is a leading supplier of spectrometer systems, now relies on the peristaltic pumps for use in an auto-sampler, which is used to prepare samples ready for analysis by the SpectraAlyzer.

    Qdos 60 attributes ideal for dosing application at French winemaker

    Watson-Marlow Pumps Group has supplied Qdos 60 metering pumps to Fauchier Company, a France-based specialist in the design and manufacture of automated filtration systems. The pumps are being used as part of a double skid for a winemaking customer of Fauchier – Qdos technology is dosing a wine ingredient known as gum arabic.

    New APEX35 Trial

    The trial of a new APEX35 hose pump from Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group at EEW Saarbrücken GmbH, a producer of energy from waste, has indicated the significant potential savings in pump maintenance costs. Not only is the APEX35 pump able to run without clogging, for a much longer period when pumping abrasive brine at EEW, but downtime and the cost of replacement parts is reduced greatly.
