BioPure Technology Ltd, a part of the Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group are looking to recruit a talented and enthusiastic Validation Engineer to join our team. This role will sit within our Quality team and will be focused on validating our equipment, tooling and products, as well as undertaking metrology projects.
Reporting into the Quality, Environment, Health & Safety Manager, this newly created role will assist with the day to day running of the business and also contribute heavily to the preparation and execution of our site move to a brand new facility in Waterlooville.

In our manufacturing facility in Horndean, UK- facility will move to Waterlooville in 2022
Key responsibilities will include
- Equipment validation- liaising with suppliers to ensure all equipment is correctly validated before it is integrated into our production processes
- Tooling validation- a good working knowledge of IQ, OQ, and PQ process will be required
- Product validation- measuring and evaluating all of our manufactured products against their reference drawings
- Liaise with QA to control, review, verify and update any validation documentation.
- Liaise with QC for verification of OQ, PQ and Tool Trial job packs.
- Liaise with production regarding organisation of qualification projects.
- Control and organise the requirement for product moulded by production.
- Control, organise & complete (where required) the metrology for the product.
- Report all metrology data back to relevant parties.
- Produce summary reports for issue to customers.
- Collate and file all Validation project document information.
- Support QA with relevant calibration activities.
- Complete scheduled measurement studies of products to maintain validation information.
The right candidate should have
To be the right candidate for this role, you will have previous experience working within the biopharma quality and validation fields, and can demonstrate your technical knowledge as well as your ability to work well and collaborate within a close knit team.
Possessing excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus, you will be confident working with stakeholders at all levels and will be able to adapt you style to suit your audience. You will always ensure you treat all of your stakeholders respectfully, regardless of role or organizational level.
